Enjoying Life: Dance Floor

The dance floor of the Hydropark recreational area has been a favorite place for elderly Kyiv residents for many years.

In 2013, we carried out a complete reconstruction of the dance floor: we replaced the dance floor, installed benches and replaced the 1960s sound equipment with new ones.

By 2020, the venue was hosting regular concerts and events.

Before the quarantine, more than 700 elderly people danced waltzes, foxtrots and tangos every weekend, reminiscing about their youth, meeting and falling in love.
