Enjoying Life: Targeted Assistance

Within the framework of “Enjoying Life: Targeted Assistance”, our super-grandchildren became the relatives for lonely and low-income elderly people who do not have any. After all, there are no strangers’ Ba and Di (that’s what we call our grandmas and grandpas in Ukrainian). We encountered difficult stories face to face, but this was not a reason to be sad, but a real opportunity to help a particular person.

Every month we spent about UAH 120,000 on medicines, and this was to help only 150 people. The number of targeted assistance beneficiaries was growing every day, and we were happy to see new clinics and pharmacies join the family of our medical partners. Most of the stories of our beneficiaries concerned health, and there are also needs for better living conditions, clothes and shoes. And sometimes our wards just dreamed. For example, about a bicycle or a balloon flight.
